Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2-1/2 tablespoons Fleischmann's® Corn Starch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup toffee chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans, toasted
  • Whipped topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix brown sugar, corn starch and salt in a large microwave-safe bowl. Whisk in milk and egg yolks until well blended.
  2. Microwave on HIGH (100%) power for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring every 1 to 2 minutes.
  3. Cook until pudding is thick and has boiled at least 1 minute.
  4. Remove from microwave.
  5. Stir in butter and vanilla.
  6. Cover surface with plastic wrap.
  7. Chill 30 minutes.
  8. Stir in toffee chips.
  9. Pour into a bowl OR individual serving dishes.
  10. Garnish with pecans and whipped topping, if desired.
