Chive Drop Biscuits

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon Fleischmann's® Baking Powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1/3 cup vegetable shortening
1 tablespoon chives
1 cup buttermilk


Preheat oven to 450°F.

Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Cut in shortening with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add chives and stir. Add buttermilk; stir until just moist.

Drop batter by heaping tablespoonfuls onto a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
