Cinnamon Apple Bars

Baking Success Or Baking Mess

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tablespoon Fleischmann's® Baking Powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup drained, canned unsweetened apple slices OR pears in fruit juice, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
2 large eggs OR 1/2 cup egg substitute
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons Mazola® Corn Oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F.


Spray a 13 X 9 baking pan with cooking spray.


Stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon and baking soda in medium bowl; set aside.


Stir together remaining ingredients in another bowl; then add flour mixture, stirring until moistened. Pour into baking pan.


Bake for 20 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool on rack for 10 minutes before cutting.
