Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups water, warm to touch
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
  • 2 teaspoons Fleischmann’s Quick Rise Instant Yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups quality GF bread flour
  • 1 cup GF old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup flax seed mill
  • Egg wash, to finish
  • Seeds, to finish

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl whisk together water, eggs, olive oil, brown sugar, yeast & salt until well combined.
  2. Add the flour, oats & flax seed mill. Stir until the dough just comes together. Cover & let stand for 15 minutes.
  3. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface & knead. As the dough begins to hold its shape more, shape into a log & transfer to a greased loaf pan. Cover & let rise for an hour.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350(f) degrees. Generously brush the loaf with egg wash & sprinkle with seeds.
  5. Bake until golden & cooked throughout, about 30 to 40 minutes.
  6. Let cool completely before slicing & serving.
