Lavender & Honey Brioche
Ingredients
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1 packet Fleischmann’s Quick-Rise Plus
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 egg + 1 egg yolk
- ¼ cup melted butter
- 3 ½ cups flour
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup softened butter
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 1 to 1½ tsp dried edible flowers
- Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 22 minutes, until golden brown.
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp lavender syrup
- 1 pinch of salt
- Optional: a small amount of ube powder for color

Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, and Fleischmann’s Quick-Rise Plus. Then add the warm milk, honey, eggs, and melted butter. Mix until a smooth dough forms, then knead until soft and elastic. Cover and let rise for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Roll the dough into a large rectangle. Spread the filling evenly, then roll the dough onto itself. Cut into equal portions and place in a baking dish. Cover and let rise again for 30–40 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 22 minutes, until golden brown.
- Mix all ingredients until smooth. Adjust the texture with a bit of milk if needed, then drizzle over the brioche while slightly warm.
