Rainbow Waffles
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- ½ cup neutral oil
- 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ tablespoons Fleischmann’s Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups whole milk
- Red, green, yellow & blue food colouring
- Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl whisk together sugar, eggs, oil & vanilla extract until combined.
- Add flour, baking powder & salt. Slowly add the milk as dry ingredients are incorporated. Mix until batter just comes together.
- Evenly divide batter amongst 5 small mixing bowls. Colour each portion red, green, yellow, blue & purple.
- Heat square or round non-stick waffle iron. Spoon or pipe the colours in stripes (following the colours of the rainbow), working quickly. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, according to waffle iron directions.
- Repeat with remaining batter.
- Dust with powdered sugar & serve!
