Ingredients

  • 2 cups old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup neutral oil
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons Crown Lily White Corn Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325(f) degrees. Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper, leaving a 2-inch overhang.
  2. In a large mixing bowl stir together oats, seeds, coconut, cranberries, chocolate chips, cinnamon & salt.
  3. In a small saucepan over medium heat whisk together oil, maple syrup, corn syrup & vanilla. Bring to a gentle simmer & remove from heat.
  4. Pour syrup over the oats & stir until well coated.
  5. Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish & press down to flatten. Be sure to press down very firmly, as this will ensure the bars will hold their shape when slicing.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes, until the edges are golden.
  7. Let cool completely before slicing into 12 granola bars.
