Trail Mix Granola Bars (Nut Free)
Ingredients
- 2 cups old fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup neutral oil
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 3 tablespoons Crown Lily White Corn Syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325(f) degrees. Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper, leaving a 2-inch overhang.
- In a large mixing bowl stir together oats, seeds, coconut, cranberries, chocolate chips, cinnamon & salt.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat whisk together oil, maple syrup, corn syrup & vanilla. Bring to a gentle simmer & remove from heat.
- Pour syrup over the oats & stir until well coated.
- Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish & press down to flatten. Be sure to press down very firmly, as this will ensure the bars will hold their shape when slicing.
- Bake for 25 minutes, until the edges are golden.
- Let cool completely before slicing into 12 granola bars.
