Chai Sugar Cookies with Icing
Ingrédients
- 1/2 tasse de beurre non salé, à température ambiante
- 1/2 tasse d’huile végétale
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar, plus more to finish
- 1/2 tasse de sucre en poudre
- 1 gros œuf, à la température ambiante
- 2 c. à thé d’extrait de vanille
- 2 tasses de farine tout usage
- 1/2 cuillère à café de bicarbonate de soude Fleischmann
- 1/4 c. à thé de sel
- 2 teaspoons ground chai tea or chai spices
- Glaçage vanille, pour finir
- Raw sugar, to finish

Méthode
- In a large mixing bowl cream butter. Add oil, sugars, egg & vanilla extract. Beat until well combined, about 2 minutes.
- Sift in flour, Fleischmann’s Baking Soda, salt & chai tea (or spices). Beat until dough comes together. Cover & refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour.
- Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 350(f) degrees.
- Using a small ice cream scoop, evenly divide dough into 24 rounds & transfer to prepared baking sheets.
- Sprinkle with granulated sugar & press down slightly to flatten.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until golden at the edges. Let cool completely before finishing with a dollop of glaze & a pinch of raw sugar.
