Ingredients

1-POUND LOAF (8 slices)

  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts, toasted
  • 2/3 cup water (70° to 80° F)
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoon butter OR margarine, cut up
  • 1 tablespoon nonfat dry milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups bread flour
  • 1 teaspoon Fleischmann's® Bread Machine Yeast

1 1/2 or 2-POUND LOAF (12 or 16 slices)

  • 3/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts, toasted
  • 1 cup water (70° to 80° F)
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 tablespoons butter OR margarine, cut up
  • 2 tablespoons nonfat dry milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 1 teaspoon Fleischmann's® Bread Machine Yeast

Instructions

  1. Toast walnuts in 350°F oven for 8 to 10 minutes until lightly browned.
  2. Measure all ingredients into bread machine pan in the order suggested manufacturer, adding walnuts with flour.
  3. Process on fruit and nut, basic/white or rapid bread cycle; use medium/normal crust color setting, adding nuts as directed by manufacturer. Do not use delayed-bake feature. Remove bread from pan; cool on wire rack.
