Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted & cooled
  • 1 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1/3 cup full-fat sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup fresh apple cider (not juice)
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Fleischmann’s Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Fleischmann’s Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
  • Cinnamon sugar, to finish
  • Melted butter, to finish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350(f) degrees. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper, leaving a 2-inch overhang on each side.
  2. In a large mixing bowl whisk together butter, sugar, eggs, sour cream, vanilla & cider until well combined.
  3. Sift in flour, Fleischmann’s Baking Powder, Fleischmann’s Baking Soda, salt & nutmeg. Mix until batter comes together.
  4. Transfer to the prepared loaf pan & bake until the top bounces back to touch, about 40 to 45 minutes. Let cool to room temperature.
  5. Remove from the pan & brush the outside with butter. Finish with a generous coating of cinnamon sugar. Slice & enjoy!
