1-POUND LOAF

  • 2/3 cup water
  • 4 teaspoons sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 teaspoons nonfat dry milk powder
  • 4 teaspoons butter or margarine
  • 2 cups bread flour
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons Fleischmann's® Bread Machine Yeast OR Fleischmann's® Quick Rise Yeast

1-1/2-POUND LOAF

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons nonfat dry milk powder
  • 2 tablespoons butter OR margarine
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 2 teaspoons Fleischmann's® Bread Machine Yeast OR Fleischmann's® Quick Rise Yeast

2-POUND LOAF

  • 1-1/3 cups water
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 tablespoons nonfat dry milk powder
  • 3 tablespoons butter OR margarine
  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 2-1/4 teaspoons Fleischmann's® Bread Machine Yeast OR Fleischmann's® Quick Rise Yeast

Instructions

  1. Add ingredients to bread machine pan in the order suggested by manufacturer.
  2. Recommended cycle: Basic/white bread cycle; medium/normal color setting. Timed-bake feature can be used.
  3. This bread makes excellent sandwiches. Use it in the following recipe and take grilled cheese to a whole new level!
  4. Three Cheese Panini
  5. Yield: 4 sandwiches Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 4 to 6 minutes/sandwich
  6. 6 tablespoons butter OR margarine, softened 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese 1 teaspoon Italian Herb Seasoning 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder 8 slices homemade white bread, sliced 1/4 to 1/2-inch thick 4 slices cheddar cheese 6 ounces Fontina cheese, sliced OR shredded
  7. Combine butter, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning and garlic powder, blending well. Spread on one side of each slice of bread.
  8. Portion cheese onto un-buttered side of 4 slices of bread, top with second slice of bread (buttered side out). Grill over medium heat or use a panini maker, cooking until bread.
