Glazed Acorn Squash
Ingredients
- 2 medium acorn squash, halved and seeded
- 1-1/2 cups cold tap water
- 1/3 cup Crown® Lily White® or Golden Corn Syrup
- 1 tablespoon butter OR margarine
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Place squash cut-side down in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish; add water. Bake 30 minutes or until squash is fork tender. Turn squash cut-side up. Combine corn syrup, butter, cinnamon and salt in a small bowl. Spoon corn syrup mixture into squash cavities.
- Reduce oven temperature to 350°F. Bake 15 minutes or until fork tender, basting occasionally.
