Preheat oven to 400°F.
Place squash cut-side down in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish; add water. Bake 30 minutes or until squash is fork tender. Turn squash cut-side up. Combine corn syrup, butter, cinnamon and salt in a small bowl. Spoon corn syrup mixture into squash cavities.
Reduce oven temperature to 350°F. Bake 15 minutes or until fork tender, basting occasionally.
