Ingredients

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup Crown Lily White Corn Syrup
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 18 large green grapes
  • 12 strawberries, stems removed
  • 12 bamboo skewers

Instructions

  1. To a heavy bottom saucepan add sugar, corn syrup & water. Over medium heat, cook mixture until a candy thermometer reaches 300(f) degrees. Do not stir.
  2. As the candy cooks, prepare the skewers. Thread grapes & strawberries onto bamboo skewers. I recommend 3 grapes per skewer & 2 strawberries per skewer.
  3. Working quickly, dip each skewer into the candy & transfer to parchment paper to cool.
  4. Once sugar has fully hardened, they are ready for snacking!
