Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Fleischmann's Pizza Yeast
  • 1 cup whole milk, warm to touch
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder, divided
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons salted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 50 grams pepperoni
  • Marinara sauce, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl add the yeast & milk. Let stand for 5 minutes to activate.
  2. Whisk in the olive oil, salt & garlic powder. Gradually add the flour until the dough comes together.
  3. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface & knead until elastic. Transfer back to the bowl, cover & let rise for an hour.
  4. Prepared the garlic butter. Whisk together butter, oregano, pepper & remaining garlic powder until combined.
  5. Brush an 8-inch cast iron skillet with garlic butter. Divide the dough into 20 to 24 rounds & transfer to the buttered skillet. Brush the dough with remaining garlic powder. Sprinkle the top with mozzarella & pepperoni.
  6. Bake at 425(f) degrees for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden & cooked throughout. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping!
